Temple for ISKCON Salem

Biome is designing a stone and earth temple for ISKCON at Salem, in Tamilnadu in South India. In this temple no steel will be used, a rarity in present day construction. What is being done here is to use a structural system of arches, vaults and heavy masonry walls. Studies were done of old Churches to understand such structural systems.
